GOD LOVES YOU

About Žuvelė

Žuvelė is a Catholic space for media, prayer, and community, created for people seeking God, peace, hope, and a trustworthy next step.

We create shows, video prayers, and tools for growing in faith; organize retreats; help people submit Holy Mass intentions; and invite them into community. We want the internet to become a bridge: from a word heard to prayer, from a screen to the sacraments, from isolation to community, and from a recognized gift to service.

OUR DIRECTION

Not about us. About a path closer to Jesus.

Žuvelė’s work matters only insofar as it helps a person turn toward Christ and live the faith in everyday life. A show is the beginning of a conversation, technology is a means rather than an end, and a community is made of people—not an audience.

Christ at the center

Žuvelė and its creators are not the destination. Everything should help a person know Jesus and grow in a living relationship with Him.

Faithful to the Church

We assess content and pastoral choices in the light of the Catholic faith, sacramental life and responsible spiritual accompaniment.

Respect for each person

We do not pressure, promise easy answers or expose sensitive stories. We welcome people as they are.

Work as service

Filming, editing, programming, translation, preparing an event and prayer are different ways of serving the same person.

GOD CALLED – WE RESPONDED

People who accept responsibility

Specific people are visible in Žuvelė’s story, but we do not present them as heroes. Each is responsible for a part of the ministry, and all of the work depends on a much wider community.

Priest, show guest, and retreat leader

Fr. Arnoldas Valkauskas

Shares pastoral experience, leads people toward prayer, and connects questions of faith with real human life.

Priest and Žuvelė show guest

Fr. Virgilijus Poškus

Helps people explore faith, prayer, their relationship with God, and the inner life through open conversations.

Founder and coordinator of the daily work

Edvardas Gliosas

Brings together content, technology, administration, and people so that Žuvelė’s work is carried through responsibly. Edvardas testifies that he did not plan this path for himself: ideas came to him in prayer as interior promptings, which he discerned and chose to follow as God’s call.

THE WIDER COMMUNITY

Žuvelė is more than three visible people.

Camera operators, editors, writers, translators, programmers, designers, parish teams, event volunteers, partners, and people who accompany the ministry in prayer all work together. Some are visible; much of their work will never be noticed—but Žuvelė would not exist without them.
