Controller and scope
The controller is VšĮ “Dievo darbai”, legal entity code 307040858, Juodelynės g. 29, Kaunas, Lithuania. This policy covers the website, accounts, registrations, shop, payments, donations, newsletter and pastoral services.
Principles and legal bases
We process data lawfully, fairly, transparently and only for stated purposes. Depending on the activity, the basis may be a contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests or separate voluntary consent.
Holy Mass intentions
The intention is provided to the authorized parish team. Depending on the practice stated on that parish’s page before submission, its text may remain private, be mentioned briefly, or be read in full during Mass. If a publicly read Mass is streamed or recorded, the words that are read may be heard publicly and remain in the recording. The sender’s identity, contact details, and payment information are not displayed publicly.
Spiritual-gifts assessment
Answers may reveal religious beliefs, so separate explicit consent is requested. Automated scoring creates a personal report but does not make a legal or similarly significant decision, diagnosis or final determination of vocation.
Retreats, shop, and payments
We use the necessary registration, accommodation, accessibility, order, delivery, invoice, and payment-status data to provide the chosen service and meet legal obligations. People-facing forms ask separately for first name, last name, phone number, and email address. Žuvelė does not receive or store full payment-card details.
Accounts, newsletter and contacts
Account details support sign-in, security and service history. Newsletter consent is separate and may be withdrawn at any time. Unverified contact requests are removed after 24 hours; verified requests are normally kept up to 12 months after closure unless longer retention is needed for a legal claim or obligation.
Volunteer candidates and volunteers
We use contact details, languages, location and time zone, availability, experience, equipment, learning preferences, selected roles and voluntarily stated boundaries to administer interest, hold a human conversation, agree a safe task, provide training, manage shifts and support the volunteer journey. No automatic system accepts or rejects a person. Donation history, Mass intentions, pastoral messages, political views and spiritual-gifts answers are not used for selection. Sensitive information is encrypted and restricted by role. Unconfirmed interest is removed after the short confirmation period; candidate records receive a retention date and are removed when no longer needed unless a legal obligation or documented legal hold applies. The general online flow is for adults aged 18 or over.
Recipients and international transfers
Necessary data may be received by hosting, email, payment, accounting, delivery and technical providers, and by the relevant parish or event partner. Any transfer outside the EEA must use a lawful transfer mechanism.
Retention
Data is kept no longer than needed for the stated purpose, contract, accounting, security or legal claims. Detailed periods are maintained in an internal retention schedule and are not invented where a legal or business decision is still pending.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, object to certain processing or withdraw consent. Use the online data request form or contact info@zuvele.lt. We may reasonably verify identity and normally respond within one month.
Authority, security and changes
You may complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate. We restrict access and record significant administrative actions. Published versions are immutable; updates are issued as a new version.
